Yoko is a passionate and versatile dancer who began her training in classical ballet at the age of three. As a 25th-generation student at the Asami Maki Ballet Company (AM Students), she performed in numerous productions alongside renowned dancers such as Tamiyo Kusakari.
Her dance background spans a wide range of styles, including modern ballet, jazz, contemporary, heels, hip hop, salsa, and more. She has performed extensively on stage and at dance events across Japan.
In recent years, Yoko has dedicated herself to Brazilian Zouk and Lambada, building a strong reputation as both a dancer and instructor. In 2025, she completed the prestigious MAC Instructor Certification, where she ranked 1st among all candidates. She also completed the La Negra Method Teachers Course (Dominican Bachata, 2024), further expanding her expertise in Latin dance instruction.
As a competitor, Yoko has achieved impressive results in international Jack & Jill competitions, including:

These achievements led to her promotion to the Intermediate level on the international Zouk circuit. Today, she is recognized as one of Japanβs most promising Zouk dancers.
In addition to Zouk, Yoko serves as the Director of the Sara Panero Bachata Ladies Team Japan, where she plays a key role in advancing solo ladiesβ Bachata in the country.
