Snow Xu is a Brazilian Zouk instructor, event organizer, and a Zoukbabes director based in Montreal. She grew up in a family rooted in gymnastics and figure skating, which shaped her early understanding of movement through discipline, precision, and body awareness.
Her Latin dance journey began in 2014 with salsa, and she discovered Brazilian Zouk in 2016. Since then, she has achieved recognition in Jack & Jill competitions across Asia and North America. More recently, she has become a frequent finalist and winner in Lambada Jack & Jill competitions, reflecting her continued growth and versatility as a dancer.
Committed to continuous learning and technical development, Snow is known for her methodical and structured teaching style, which helps students understand the underlying mechanics of Zouk in a clear and accessible way.
After several years of fostering the Zouk community in Beijing—where she regularly hosted international instructors and led local initiatives—Snow is now an active instructor and organizer in Montreal. She continues to deepen her expertise, currently expanding her training into lambada.
As a director of Zoukbabes, Snow brings a thoughtful and collaborative vision, aiming to support the growth of inclusive, high-quality dance spaces and empower dancers through education and connection.
